majors league playoff preview: bonson red sox!

you gota love an underdog!
The last copple of years have been rough for beantown. The redsox traded beloved manager tarry francona away to the indians and collapsed early in the season, not seeing the golden glow of october baseball for all of 2012.  This past winter the boston red sox had a meeting and said "enough of this losing!" and made some big time moves.  The biggest things they did was improve slugging on theire team by signing some of the biggest muscles in free agency. Names like Shame Victorino and Mike Napoli were now wearing the ruby red colors of boston!

Things looked shaky at first until "Bing! pow! bang!" home runs started flying oer the green monster like crazy!  the red sox homered and struck otu opposing batters all the way through septumber when they ended up clinging their devision over teams like RAYS and orioles and perennial world series champion The NEw York Yankees.   Mario River (famous yankees closer who retired at the seasons end) told reports: "it brings me great shame to see boston flourish, i retire a bitter man."

SPeaking of bitter men, I bet THeodore Epstein is pretty bitter that he got traded to the Cubs who haven't even been to the playoffs ONCE since he's been there!

Will there be another world series in Boston? Time will tell. They've got the bats and the arms to make a strong run thoguh!
